MUSEE MEMORIAL DE LA BATAILLE DE NORMANDIE

The Museum sheds light on the events and stakes of the Battle of Normandy : 7th June - 29th August 1944 

Gateway to the D-day Beaches, the museum steps back into history to offer a chronological view of events in the summer of 1944. The museum is enriched with theme areas dedicated to the Résistance, to De Gaulle, war correspondents, allied aviation, and life of civilians… Many equipments and objects illustrate the period. 

Archive film (25 minutes): "Normandy 44: a decisive victory in the West".
