In April 2012, the group Pierre & Vacances opens a new Maeva tourist residence  in Courseulles-sur-Mer. Located 600m from the beach and close to the port and shops, it will have a hundred apartments of 2 to 4 rooms, with a semi-covered heated swimming pool and a playground for children.
